At The Bugle House, you can get the celebrations started the evening before your wedding. Bring everyone together for welcome drinks at the bar, a few cocktails and a relaxed dinner. Whether it’s an intimate rehearsal dinner or a more informal pre-wedding get-together, it’s a lovely way to spend time with your favourite people and make the most of your wedding weekend.
Stay a Little Longer in our Boutique Bedrooms
One of the best parts of a wedding weekend is not having to say goodbye as soon as the party ends. The Bugle House has seven beautifully designed ensuite bedrooms, with additional sleeping space for children, comfortably accommodating up to 13 adults and two children.
Available on an exclusive-use, Airbnb-style basis, the entire house becomes yours for your stay. There are no shared bedrooms, outside guests or interruptions. Just a private and comfortable space to enjoy with your favourite people. Each room has its own character, with thoughtful interiors, modern ensuite bathrooms and lovely little details.

Marcellina, The Bugle Suite
Our beautiful top-floor suite is a lovely place to spend the night before your wedding. With a super king bed, separate dressing area, soft pink interiors and gorgeous views across the sea and Southampton Pier, it’s made for a special stay. The ensuite has both a bath and shower, making it a particularly lovely retreat after a busy wedding day.
Gemma
Located just off Marcellina, Gemma is a thoughtfully designed space with a sofa that converts into a double sofa bed. It’s suitable for children only and is particularly handy for families staying in The Bugle Suite.
Pearl
Spacious and full of classic character, Pearl combines soft neutral tones with beautiful historic details. Its sea views, double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower make it a calm and elegant place to unwind.
Delphine
With a soft coastal-inspired palette of blues and delicate detailing, Delphine feels light, peaceful and romantic. Enjoy sea views, a comfortable double bed and an ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
Celeste
A room full of charm, Celeste pairs warm grey tones with an original fireplace and quirky historic details. With a double bed, sea views and a modern ensuite featuring a freestanding bath, it brings together the best of old and new.
Coralie
Light-filled and quietly elegant, Coralie is a lovely spot to relax at The Bugle House. Expect comfortable luxury bedding, timeless finishes, beautiful sea views and a modern ensuite with a walk-in shower.
Aria
Tucked away in the left wing of the house, Aria is a cosy double bedroom with rich, warm tones and original fireplace details. Its ensuite bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, making it a welcoming little retreat.
Luna
A charming single bedroom, Luna features soft green tones, classic detailing and a comfortable single bed. With its own ensuite shower room, it’s a lovely private space for a member of the wedding party or a single guest.
With every room offering its own ensuite, guests can enjoy their own private space while still being part of the celebrations. It’s a lovely way to make the most of an exclusive-use wedding venue in Hampshire, with everyone together under one roof.
Your Wedding Day at The Bugle House
At The Bugle House, your wedding day can move between our different spaces, with each one bringing something different to the celebrations.
The wedding day can start with a little time to relax and get ready with your bridal party. Our Bugle suite, Marcellina, is a lovely place to begin the morning, with its own dressing area, beautiful sea views and plenty of space to enjoy those final preparations.
When it’s time to say ‘I do’, head down to Grace’s Room or The Wonderland for a romantic and light-filled wedding ceremony.
Afterwards, take the celebrations out to the courtyard for drinks, canapés and photographs. When it’s time for dinner, Wonderland is ready for your wedding breakfast, with space for up to 110 guests and plenty of scope to style the room your way. As the evening gets going, move back into Grace’s Room for the party. With its own bar, terrace and space for up to 180 standing guests, it’s a great setting for music, drinks and dancing.
Having everything within one exclusive-use wedding venue means there’s no need to travel between venues or rush from one part of the day to the next. You can enjoy each space as the celebrations unfold, with Southampton’s historic streets and waterfront just outside for those all-important wedding photographs.
Post-Wedding Celebrations
One more reason to celebrate. The morning after your wedding doesn’t have to mean a hurried breakfast and everyone heading straight home.
Instead, bring everyone back together for a relaxed brunch, courtyard gathering or informal post-wedding party.
